INTRODUCTION
Ryba Žilina, spol. s r.o. is a company engaged in food sales and marketing activities. It is the parent company of PRETO Ryba, s.r.o., which is the largest producer of fish and delicatessen salads in Slovakia. At the same time, it is the oldest continuously operating fish-processing plant. It started operating in Žilina as early as 1924.
Our goal is to bring consumers increasingly higher-quality and healthier products. That is why we stopped using artificial sweeteners and, through modern production technologies, gradually reduce the content of additives. Most products in our portfolio are gluten-free, making them suitable for people with celiac disease. In 2021, we launched a new vegan line that represents a healthier alternative to delicatessen and meat products.
We are not only a producer, but also one of the leading distributors of chilled and frozen goods such as frozen fish, frozen vegetables, semi-finished products, meat products, and more.
Our customers include large national and multinational retail chains, customers in the HORECA segment, and independent stores across Slovakia.
